Just Another Day In Paradise...

Look at our fun family picture in the ocean! This is the day before the wedding and I couldn't imagine a more beautiful place to relax away the pre-wedding jitters! Between this and the swim up bar it couldn't get any better!

Aiden's first time in the ocean! He loved it!

He really liked to crawl around in the sand and have the cool sea water wash over his little legs!

He kept looking down at his hands! He thought it was so neat he could see them through the water!

He said "look mom! I am in the water!"
I took him out a little deeper to let him "swim" a little bit. He was so cute kicking his feet like he was really going somewhere!
He didn't know how close his face was to the water so he kept mini dunking himself!

He was trying to stand up and splash a little and feel the sand between his little piggy toes.

Look at him go!

My mom Mindi and my sister Lindsay, with her daughter Campbell were quite the bathing beauties! We had so much fun getting to see sis and Cambi since they live so far away! This trip was so special that we were able to spend a week in such a beautiful place with our wonderful families!

Me and Miss Priss, Campbell Avery! She was half waving half looking like who is this crazy girl that thinks she can hold me! She was so cute! We also celebrated her 1st birthday while in Mexico! Happy Birthday Campbell! We love you very very very very very very much!'

Baggage Claim...

After our lovely flight to Cancun, we were feeling pretty good about our trip and how everything had gone so smoothly! Then we headed to the baggage claim. We picked up one bag, two bags, three bags, and then...where was Dillon's bag? It was no where to be found! Ugh! We had to stand in line for 2 hours at the Mexican airport waiting to report Dillon's missed bag! TWO HOURS! Some of our friends who flew in 2 hours later caught up with us and ended up riding in our shuttle to the hotel! Dillon was a little ticked to say the least, but there was one little turkey who had the time of his life!

Notice Dillon's face. Mad. Aiden loved jumping on the pile of luggage! He loved watching all the bags go round and round on the claim belt. He was in hog heaven!

See! All he needs is his mommy and daddy and he can have fun anywhere! Here he is jumping on top of the luggage that did come in on time! Luckily Dillon had put his wedding clothes and toiletries in another bag. It came in at about 9 o'clock that same night so Dillon didn't have to wear the same clothes for 2 days!

Mexican Adventures...

We were getting ready for our week long, fun (and wedding) filled vacation in Playa Del Carmen, Mexico! Aiden decided to help us pack for the trip! By help us pack I mean he crawled all over the luggage and lovingly took pieces back out of the suitcase after I packed them. I didn't get any pictures of him removing the clothes because I had to pick them up, but I did get some of him climbing all over his bag with the toys in it. He knew they were in there but couldn't quite get it open!

Okay mom, I know those toys are in here!

OOH! Maybe I can open it here!

Is this a joke?

This marks the beginning of Aiden's traveling days! He is not even a year old and already has a stamp in his passport! For his first flight we were a little worried about how he would act but we were AMAZED at how good he was! He slept the whole time on the way to Dallas. Then on the way to Cancun, we had quite the spread to keep him entertained! We got lucky on this flight because there wasn't anyone sitting next to me so we had a free seat for Aiden! He was so cute!

I propped him up with pillows so he could sit like a big boy on the plane! Notice all of the toys suction cupped to the tray table! We also introduced him to Puffs and Yogurt Melts this trip and he loved them! They are baby snacks that dissolve quickly so babies don't choke! You can see one in his mouth!

Such a big boy! He was the plane favorite! All the passengers loved to come say hi to him!

Especially this super sweet flight attendant! Aiden kept peeking his head around the side of the seat to look at her and she had him giggling and smiling so big! She asked if she could take him to the front of the plane and he got to say "Buh-bye" to everyone as the left the plane. Then she came back and got our camera and asked if she could take him to the cockpit!!

Captain Aiden Engles doing pre-flight checks! Look how cute with the pilot's cap on!

The captain has turned on the seat belt sign! What a lucky boy to get to sit in the pilots chair AND get a picture of it on his first flight! Thanks lady!

Birthday Continued...

Later that night, we all went to dinner at one of my favorite restaurants, Bonefish Grill. Anyone who knows me might be in shock that we didn't go to Shogun! But I figured after 10 years in a row, we might change it up a bit! I was so happy Bub could be there! He was home for the week from OKC. Here's my mom Mindi, Bub (or brother Brett), and my dad Terry. It was lots of fun!

Here is my new favorite family pic! Me, Aiden and Dillon, enjoying a relaxing evening with the family! (notice I had to semi hold down Aiden's arms so they wouldn't hit me in the face or pull my hair! But still cute!)

Aiden was fascinated by the light and kept staring at it all night!

Daddy was letting him get a closer look!

I don't know why but this picture wouldn't rotate! But I love how squishy Aiden's cheeks look! I could squeeze his little tummy too!

Happy Birthday...

On my birthday, Dillon woke me up with a wonderful chocolate cake with some candles burning! It was a great start to a great day! Then, while I was at work, my mom walked in the office and look what little birthday present she had!!! My baby with some flowers and a card! It was such a sweet birthday surprise!

Aiden was eating my birthday card! He is really into paper these days!

Chew, chew, chew.

Some action shots of me and my boy!

Aiden trying to grab everything within a five foot radius!
Here are my beautiful flowers! They smelled so good! We had them up at the office for two weeks! Brightened everyone's day!
